Composed during the writing of A Cosmic Adventure, these pieces share its experience. Some carry a classical touch, others are folk songs, a genre I felt was best suited to the lyrics for its simplicity and directness.

Cosmic winds whisper ancient tales,
As dimensions collide in astral veils,
Echoes of creation’s primordial call,
Resonating through cosmic halls.
[HOOK]
Reality slips through our hands,
As the cosmic dance begins and never ends.
[CHORUS]
Was I even I? (Was I even I?)
Was I truly you? (Was I truly you?)
Was I not I? (Was I not I?)
Was I not you? (Was I not you?)
Not the oceans to swim out,
Not the mountains to climb to,
Not your name to pronounce,
Not your face to love.
[HOOK]
[CHORUS]
I am stretching towards the infinite Sky,
Rooted deep in the pulsing Earth.
My eyes mirror galaxies whirling by,
In every atom, a universe’s birth.
[CHORUS]
When there is no direction, you cannot get lost.
When there is no time, you cannot be late.
When space unravels, you are anywhere and everywhere.
(Anywhere, everywhere)
When the spark ignited, where was I?
Floating free in the cosmic deep,
Swirling mists of starlit dreams,
Whispers of what’s yet to be.
[CHORUS]
Where was I when the spark lit the seventh universe?
I was the spark, the void, the cosmic verse.
[HOOK ×2]
Scattered through the cosmic dust,
Fragments of our broken trust
Messages in bottles drift,
Through space’s endless starlit rift
Children of a dying star,
Searching for who we really are
[CHORUS]
Light years home, light years home,
Through the vastness we still roam,
Every signal sent through space,
Every dream of home’s embrace
Light years home, light years home,
Through the darkness we still roam
Planet Earth, a distant blue,
A marble lost in cosmic hue,
We chase horizons far and wide,
As paradise slips from our side
Settlers of the asteroid belt,
Forgetting Earth’s primordial spell
[CHORUS]
But in our veins still flows the sea,
In our dreams, wild nature grows free,
Though we map the Milky Way,
Earth still beckons us to stay
All these worlds cannot replace,
The beauty of our native space
Martian winds sing ancient songs,
Of where humanity belongs,
Titanium towers touch the stars,
While memories of Earth leave scars
In virtual gardens now we play,
As living flowers fade away
[CHORUS]
When all our wandering is done,
When we’ve circled every sun,
Will we find what we left behind,
Was home of heart and home of mind?
[CHORUS]
Buon Auspicio (Good Omen) unfolds as a dialogue between piano and cello: two voices chasing, intertwining, and supporting one another.
Built on insistent rhythmic cells, the motion breathes in waves of tension and release, like a broad pulse that always regains its balance — a good omen for times to come.
There are signs in shifting light
Threads unseen in depth and height
Fingers tracing hollow air
Patterns form then disappear
[CHORUS]
The language of the unseen
Carved in waves shaped in dreams
Not a whisper not a scream
But the breath of things between
Steps dissolve yet leave a mark
Faint inscriptions in the dark
Not in fire not in stone
But in silence left alone
[CHORUS]
A thread of gold too fine to hold
A song too vast for lips to mold
It calls it fades it drifts it stays
In quiet hands of endless days
Drifting rising pulled by fate
A flame that burns yet leaves no trace
No weight no walls no tethered place
Only the hush where echoes race
[CHORUS]
Veil of silence thin as breath
Shapes that form yet know no death
Names unspoken lost in glow
Falling through where echoes go
[CHORUS]
No path no door yet all is near
A voice without a sound to hear
The unseen moves the unseen stays
A song of light in endless ways
And love shall break every obstacle,
And expose every deceit.
It shall go through the doors of death,
And join that which is and that which was.
[CHORUS]
A light will rise in the darkest of nights,
And hope shall pierce the deepest void.
And love shall pervade life,
And life shall turn to love,
And love shall conquer our orphaned breast.
A spark will pierce the numbing cold,
Indifference of the darkest night.
It will awaken the eternal sun,
And forever change a deserted heart.
Lost in a mindless paradigm
Of life's obscure sleep,
A spark ignites the soul's deep fire,
Awakening the eternal dream.
[CHORUS]
And love shall pervade life,
And life shall turn to love,
And love shall conquer our orphaned breast.
And Love Shall Break Every Obstacle,
And love will rise, like an endless tide.
UniVersum unfolds as a sonic journey for solo guitar, suspended between inward reflection and cosmic contemplation. Its writing weaves arpeggios that alternate between melodic clarity and harmonic density.
The musical flow is driven by a layering of shifting pulses and accents, creating an effect of implicit polymeter. Time seems to float, oscillating between stability and suspension. Out of this rhythmic ambiguity emerges the cosmic dimension of the piece, evoking the perception of infinite universes.
Dispersi nella polvere cosmica,
frammenti della nostra fiducia spezzata,
messaggi in bottiglia alla deriva,
attraverso lo sconfinato varco stellato dello spazio.
Figli di una stella morente,
in cerca di chi siamo davvero.
Scattered through the cosmic dust,
Fragments of our broken trust,
Messages in bottles drift,
Through space's endless starlit rift.
Children of a dying star,
Searching for who we really are.
[RITORNELLO]
Luce anni da casa, luce anni da casa,
nella vastità vaghiamo ancora,
ogni segnale inviato nello spazio,
ogni sogno dell’abbraccio di casa.
Luce anni da casa, luce anni da casa,
nell’oscurità vaghiamo ancora.
[CHORUS]
Light years home, light years home,
Through the vastness we still roam,
Every signal sent through space,
Every dream of home's embrace.
Light years home, light years home,
Through the darkness we still roam.
Pianeta Terra, un azzurro distante,
un marmo smarrito in un alone cosmico,
inseguiamo orizzonti lontani,
mentre il paradiso ci scivola accanto.
Coloni della fascia degli asteroidi,
dimentichi dell’incanto primordiale della Terra.
Planet Earth, a distant blue,
A marble lost in cosmic hue,
We chase horizons far and wide,
As paradise slips from our side.
Settlers of the asteroid belt,
Forgetting Earth's primordial spell.
[RITORNELLO]
[CHORUS]
But in our veins still flows the sea,
In our dreams, wild nature grows free,
Though we map the Milky Way,
Earth still beckons us to stay.
All these worlds cannot replace,
The beauty of our native space.
Venti marziani cantano antichi canti,
di dove appartiene l’umanità,
torri di titanio toccano le stelle,
mentre i ricordi della Terra lasciano cicatrici.
In giardini virtuali ora giochiamo,
mentre i fiori vivi svaniscono.
Martian winds sing ancient songs,
Of where humanity belongs,
Titanium towers touch the stars,
While memories of Earth leave scars.
In virtual gardens now we play,
As living flowers fade away.
[RITORNELLO]
[CHORUS]
Quando tutto il nostro vagare sarà finito,
quando avremo circondato ogni sole,
scopriremo che ciò che avevamo lasciato
era la casa del cuore e della mente?
When all our wandering is done,
When we've circled every sun,
Will we find what we left behind,
Was home of heart and home of mind?
[RITORNELLO]
[CHORUS]
In mirrored halls, reflections gleam,
Tomorrow whispers in a dream
Past and future softly blur,
The now unfolds, the echoes stir
Veils of time dissolve unseen,
Truth emerges, calm, serene
Then and Now collide,
Illusions fade (Illusions fade),
boundaries end (boundaries end)
[CHORUS]
Echoes of tomorrow flow,
Past the lines we think we know
Every moment holds the seed,
The future blooms (The future blooms)
already freed (already freed)
Journeys spiral, never ending,
Endless dance, forever spinning
All we seek is here, concealed,
Secrets held are now revealed
Shadows dance where worlds align,
Beyond the reach of linear time
What we chase is ours to find,
Hidden deep (Hidden deep)
within the mind (within the mind)
[CHORUS]
In silent depths, the truth unties,
Inner worlds in outward skies
Nothing lost, and nothing found,
Echoes ripple, unbound
Here, tomorrow, now entwined,
Past and future redefined</
